An eventful evening
Well, the rest of the evening was very… eventful, to say the least. Circling back to Chris talking to his boss in the hallway, I held my breath, waiting for them to come out.
I imagined Dereck cussing Chris out, firing him on the spot, and blacklisting him from working in this branch ever again, but little did I know, nothing like that was happening.
