Just another Tuesday
It was a typical Tuesday evening when I pulled into the driveway after work. I walked down the paved path to check the mailbox before heading inside.
The metal box was stuffed full of the usual junk mail and monthly statements. I grabbed the stack in one hand and juggled my keys in the other.
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary as I unlocked the front door. I had no idea my peace was about to shatter.
