Ree was a young girl with big-city dreams when her eye caught sight of Ladd Drummond one day at a bar, and almost immediately, all her notions about moving to Chicago evaporated!
Well, it’s because of this that Ree refers to herself as an accidental country girl as she didn’t dream she would be raising a brood of children on a sprawling country ranch!
She has come a long way building her Pioneer Woman empire through a blog, a number of cookbooks, a TV show, and a line of homeware — plus a retail store and restaurant. Oh, and a hotel! Boy, has she come a long way indeed. And beside her through all these career investments is the love of her life, Ladd Drummond!
